Alkemy Blitz Miniatures Game
Naashti/Utopia - 2 new factions who join the nations of Mornea. A tactical and fast miniatures game in an unique universe!

About this project
Alkemy is a skirmish miniatures game in a fantasy medieval world that uses between 6 and 10 (28 mm) models. The focus of the game is not to kill the enemy, but to achieve the objectives of a scenario. The rules are very easy to learn. A game lasts about 45 minutes.

Why Kickstarter?
The main purpose of funding our Kickstarter project is to revive the Alkemy game under a new version "Alkemy Blitz" by funding the creation of two new factions. These will help to expand the universe and the history of Mornea.
The project strives to meet the expectations of the existing Alkemy gaming community (allowing them to acquire the new factions of their choice) and also for new players to acquire everything needed to play "Alkemy Blitz".

The French link doesn't seem to be working.

Why play Alkemy Blitz?
- The rules are very easy to learn. A player can learn the rules in one session. A game lasts about 45 minutes.
- Fun. It's often forgotten, but a game is first meant to be fun. Dice, combat cards, action points, simple rules, and interaction between 2 players make “Alkemy Blitz” a very fun game.
- Durability and tactical depth. Once the rules are learned, you'll further refine your knowledge and your strategy through multiple games.
- Scenarios. Each scenario modifies gameplay to offer a different approach to the game.
- Tabletop (24x24 inches).  The game is fast and only requires 6 to 8 miniatures.
- The universe. This is one of the main highlights of the game. Alkemy is primarily a rich universe, filled with history, maps, and characters with personalities that make immersion in the game even deeper!
- Characters. From Feline Khalimans, Aurlok (animal human) through the medieval human Avalon and Asian Triadic, the characters are original and give a special touch to Alkemy. But this is no longer enough. The universe is expanding and two new factions are proposed: Naashtis and Utopians.

Pledging and selecting optional add-ons
Choose the level of your pledge, which allows you access to the level of your reward. Add the amount of the add-ons you wish to purchase to the amount of your pledge.
You may change the amount of your pledge at any time until the kickstarter ends. Add-ons will appear throughout this campaign. Can you pick add-ons after the campaign ends using the Pledge Manager?
Once the campaign has finished, we will give you access to our Pledge Manager. There you will make your final choices and let us know what rewards you would like for your donation.

Who are we?
Alchemist-Miniatures is managed by 7 <<Architekts>>: Barbouille, Ben95, Captain Caverne, Emmlef, Kurlem, Méhapito and Nicoleblond.

Nicoleblond, one of the biggest fans of the original Alkemy game, had a dream to one day develop a miniatures game. The chance to revive Alkemy was timely and it was impossible to ask for more - to be able to continue the development of the game he always loved.

Nicoleblond proposed the project to members of the Galleon Forums. A team was gradually put together, and with input from many people Alchemist Miniatures was formed in late 2013. We are fans of the Mornea universe. We became the publisher of the game and are motivated to continue the development of Alkemy and its incredible universe...

So far, we have worked on a website: www.alkemy-the-game.com, and we have redesigned the rules to achieve a more dynamic and quick version called "Alkemy Blitz".

Today, with this new version, we again energize this universe and are launching two new factions:  
- Naashtis, one of the four founding nations (Genesis Read more)

- Utopia.

Who worked on this project?
The Alchemist Miniatures team, and also the following people whom we thank very much:

- Laurent Mautret painted Utopian and Naashtis starter miniatures. 

- All who have advised us, those who have play-tested the new Utopian and Naashtis profiles, and all who have supported us…

Shipping charges
Shipping charges will be in addition to the pledge amount. They will be calculated after the end of the campaign. Charges will be the real cost of shipping to each supporter. No flat-rate shipments. Forecast delivery price: France (around 7 euros), Europe EU (around 15 euros), Europe (Not EU) and World (around 25 euros).

Risks and challenges
Our challenge is to revive Alkemy under a new version "Alkemy Blitz". The challenge is all the greater as we launch two new factions Naashti and Utopia. For this, we ask your help in order to finance it: 

- The first challenge is to reach 10,000 euros, which will fund the production of two new factions. 

- But we don't want to stop there! To finance our entire project (all stretch goals and add-ons) is close to 45,000 euros.

For 2016, we hope that the game will return to shops...

As for the risks, they are mastered 

- If the first funding level is not reached, Kickstarter will reimburse all pledges to our supporters. 

- The delivery time is projected to be the beginning of May 2016: we will strive to meet this goal! We have the advantage of producing our miniatures in France and consequently delivery times will be better controlled.

I just listened to the video. I couldn't understand half of it because of the "cave" effect, the accent and some was the strange names of people and places. Maybe it should be text instead.

I don't want to sound mean, but I think this will be a barrier. I think you are going to have a hard time with that in the American market. I know if I knew nothing of this game and saw that video, I would pass on it immediately.

I bring this up because I really want success for you and this wonderful game.

The first slide says "It was thought destroyed, exiled..."

I think this should instead say "They were thought destroyed, exiled..."

Makes more sense as Mallachan said originally in the other thread.

Since I have all my current Alkemy minis on cool sculpted resin bases, will there be 2 new base styles for the 2 new factions? I mean I can't very well put them on plain plastic bases.
