And Utopia Summary
Difficult too !
Background #1 a écrit:Extremely traditionalist, the Utopian society is made up of contradiction. From its indigenous origins, it retains a habitat on floating platforms, the balsae and a clear division of functions. From its West Avalonian origins, it values innovation, exploration and navigation.
Despite the centuries and the slow transformation of their past to legend or myth, the Utopians have managed to maintain the egalitarian spirit on which the union of these two sources was built.
Egalitarian, they are within their family. The woman may choose to sail over the ocean, as far as a man, leaving the care of children to the other. Egalitarian, they are also in the choice of their leaders, the Majors. On the Great Island as in ships, the entire population chooses its Major. Major of a balsao or major of a crew, its task is to be the spokesman of those it represents, but also to resolve them when there is a disagreement.
Yet some cracks appear in this society. The unfortunate Pujlanar, mutation carriers and totally distorted by the use of blue algae are kept apart on the islet of Chora, under the supervision of Bokor. Moreover, the Utopians who live on earth, some spending their all lives, are considered second-class people. Yet they both are a valuable aid to the crews who rob on the coasts of the continent. Only Artefacters seem to have got a renewed consideration, certainly due to the fact that they accompany almost all sea-expeditions.

A little tricky, but here are my suggestions:

Re: And Utopia Summary
Many thanks
I think it's really difficult to understand without all the background.
If you want more, I'll answer your questions after the end of KS, but just for you both

Re: And Utopia Summary
Having more of the background would make this so much easier!
